Quite a history we have here, the original 2005 scan that was nicked from e-shushu. That's 16 years of dusting and awaiting some attention. And it totally deserves it. Heavy screening in midtones, dirt, crease and suboptimal export with subsampling had done this image quite a bad service. I omitted selective blurring to preserve sharp edges of line work, and exported with original settings, with a great displeasure however. G'MIC various blurs would produce much better results on characters, at the same time destroying sublety of background. PNG export was about 15 ~ 20 MB.
There's present alternative version of this artwork with logo and text "Bari - Kazu Gonzo / Gravion Project". Does it refers to the actual authorship?
