Isn't momo_velia_deviluke wrong? MyAnimeList, Anime-Planet, and AnimeNewsNetwork all list her middle name as "Belia". I was trying to add her name tag, but I couldn't find it, because I was looking for "momo_belia". I thought, "What the heck?!" Only when I typed "momo_dev" it appeared as "momo_velia_deviluke".

Probably copied from danbooru. And it is said to be one of the fan translations, so it might be created before the existence of that official(?) translation.

Even Google Translator translates her Japanese name as "Momo Belia Deviluke", and romanizes it as "Momo Beria Debirūku". So whoever created this tag as "momo_velia_deviluke" must have replaced the B for V in her middle name the same way that the B in "Debirūku" was replaced by V. I only watched season 1 and OVA of this anime; she only shows up in the OVA; I don't remember them saying her middle name in the show, but they probably spell/pronounce it was "Momo Belia Deviluke" as well in the English subs and dub, since it's listed like that everywhere on the net. Can't we change the tag to "momo_belia_deviluke" to correct it? Or at least create an alias?
Japanese just uses ベ (Be) for Ve since there is no V consonant in Japanese, so it *could be* V or B. Whatever Google translation said means nothing.

We typically follow what the original text is supposed to be, then followed by the most widely used translation in Western world. In this case I think both are fine, but since at least one place uses V (Danbooru), I would like to have more compelling evidence that Belia is better before we change, considering it has quite substantial number of posts (568). Otherwise, we can just add an alias.
Well, I always have seen official translations saying “Nana Astar Deviluke“ and “Momo Belia Deviluke”, never these ones currently on the tags.

I add that, if we prefer to use original Japanese names, we should use “konjiki_no_yami” rather than “golden_darkness” for our beloved blonde shapeshifting weapon. :3

Google probably translates as "Momo Belia Deviluke" because that's the widely known/used translation for her name everywhere. I think they use some kind of database for popular Asian names in the media, and then translates them according to how they are widely known/used in the West. I only mentioned Google Translate as one more place where her name is written like that in English/Western languages.

More compelling evidence than what I already mentioned? :P Well, only one place that I know use "Velia" (Danbooru); everywhere else her middle name is listed as "Belia":
- https://www.anime-planet.com/characters/momo-belia-deviluke ;
- https://myanimelist.net/character/17364/Momo_Belia_Deviluke ;
- https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=14209 (see the cast list);
- https://toloveru.fandom.com/wiki/Momo_Belia_Deviluke ; and
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momo_Belia_Deviluke.

And, lastly, I do not have evidence, as I haven't watched the whole series yet, just season 1 and its OVA; she only makes her first appearance in the OVA, and I don't remember them using her middle name there. But I am sure they spell/pronounce her middle name as "Belia" in the official English subs and dub of the show.

Is that evidence enough? :P If you don't want to change it anyway, at least make an alias, as most people will try to look for "momo_belia" here and won't find her, like it happened to me. I was confused, because I was sure that a tag for her name should already exist.

I use Anime-Planet to keep my anime list, I prefer it rather than the more popular MyAnimeList. Hence, when I want to know something about an anime or anime character, A-P is my first source of information. Nana's middle name is actually listed as "Asta" there. Here: https://www.anime-planet.com/characters/nana-asta-deviluke. As A-P is mostly aimed at the Western audience of anime, they always use the English tittles of the shows, and English names. But MyAnimeList list her middle name as you said: "Astar". As with Momo, I don't know how they spell/pronounce her middle name in the official English subs and dub of the show.

That's all over the place here. Like for example we have nekomimi, kitsune, inumimi, but at the same time bunny_ears and animal_ears.

I for myself prefer Velia.
