No, Yande.re never had any post limit since the site originally hosted scanned image only and to not hurt it scan uploaders.

About three years ago I published 40 images in a single day and a moderator that I don't remember which one warned me not to publish more than 30 a day or I would be punished

I think Moon meant if you're uploading 30+ image from the same artist and/or same source in quick succession you'll be in trouble. That was no "hard" limit on this site.

this is the message: The number of images released on a certain day counts towards that amount of uploads on that day, so if the released amount on a day have reached the max amount and you're going to upload more images on that day, those newly uploaded images have to be held, too.

glad to know there is more freedom to post

If that's the case then a few of us have been breaking that limit on a daily bases. I swear I thought it was more for flooding the index of certain scans or paid rewards. Like posting image from different source/artist was exceptions.
