Huuum... Interesting... I got a question, out of curiosity: Why some artists make circle names for themselves, if they are the only ones in the circle? Like Urotan, for an example. Do they have some sort of advantage?

In early days, they were a club or a team and usually making a doujinshi have several member's drawing. because making a book was expensive for non-professional.
Participants of conventions were regarded as a club team in the past.

The original meaning of "doujinshi" is a mag made by guys who are sharing same tastes

And all sign-up forms contain a "circle name" field, which surely makes you want one I guess...
