half-arsed? i can think of some other more fitting things that would be more appropriate... this looks like it couldn't have taken more than an hour to do... it looks like no effort was put into it... i can't be bothered going into detail picking out all the flaws though... it'd take too long
okay, i lied, i can be bothered pointing out some flaws... why does looking at this 'vector' make me itch?
firstly, sloppy lineart... the person who did this obviously doesn't believe in the convert anchor point tool, the last time i saw anything this angular and pointed was in a certain crappy mahjong anime with a total retard of a main character and his nose that looks like it belongs in the trigonometry section of a junior high maths textbook... also, this person doesn't seem to believe in neatening the liineart... the most obvious case of this is the teeth where the person who did this has obviously not bothered doing anything to neaten the two middle lines... is it really so hard to neaten the lines as you go and then do one final pass after the lineart is finished?
next on my list, the eyes... i don't even know how to describe them... I know anime eyes can be somewhat awkward at times but is the art of yugioh so bad that all their characters eyes have irises but no pupils and look totally dead otherwise?
next, the colouring in general... the glaringly obvious thing is that the allergy to the convert anchor point tool rears its head once more. not so obvious is the fact that in certain places, our friend here doesn't seem to have bothered aligning his colour paths to the lineart, so the colour seems to go over the line, or you see a little line of a different colour... a method of avoiding this issue goes as follows: put the lineart as the topmost layer in the trace and then when the colour fills are attached to the lineart, actually put the anchor points onto the lineart. you'll find that you can get away with using more anchor points to avoid having to use the convert anchor point tool. to avoid hilarity, be sure to lock any layers with contents that you aren't using or have finished with.
