The most oddball thing about the show was that Fender Japan had a run on their Left-handed Jazz Bass guitars because Mio played that model. I'll wager most of the buyers were Right-handed.

Major increase in sales for the AKG K701 headphone because Mio wore them in the show too.

That's what made sense for me to get, but gave them up for the Sony MDR 7506s. Goes to show you have to find out what you like.

Amazon still sells the 701s for $200, but at the height of the show's popularity, dealers in Japan were hiking the price to $700.
