Not fast enough though, I saw it, but it didn't matter to me since I've seen them all except the movie which I didn't bother with when I found out it was a series 1 cut-down.

It doesn't actually show that, just Shana rather happy. One would assume its because he chose her, but there is a small chance its because he simply ended his indecision. But the footracks near the tree plus the fact that shana was waiting by that same tree give me some reason to say it was shana : )

The movie is a more accurate retelling of the first SnS light novel, though it still fails for including Margery since she's not supposed to show up until the second novel. It's very likely the reason why there haven't been movies for the other light novels. It's better than the anime at times, but if you have the choice, get the light novels instead to find out how things properly go, The anime butchers things as they go further and further along, especially the second season.
