The wallpaper tag is for images that have a wallpaper resolution even if they are cgs.

I dunno. I guess it's up to a mod if they would want to create a game_cg tag and not tag them with wallpaper.

The wallpaper tag is perfectly good. People do use CGs as wallpapers.

Adding more tags will only confuse matters.

It would be interesting to know how often 'wallpaper' is searched for on the site as I'm now asking myself what use the tag actually is for...

When searching you could always use width:x height:x to find wallpaper resolution images.

Yeah, me and peto discussed this already. Unless someone is willing to maintain the game_cg tag, then it would be fine. If not, they work perfectly fine as wallpapers and will stay as such.

I don't think people who is browsing here doesn't have a skill to crop/resize images
The idea of wallpaper resolution is came from 20th century.
Imo, wallpapers means images created of the original images which exists somewhere else for to use only wallpaper.
