May I ask why the thumbnails are larger than the displayed size? Browsers aren't very good at scaling, they look jagged.
I think that's for the feature that you can hold shift while your cursor is over the thumbnail to see the bigger thumbnail

Ah, that's what you meant. I couldn't believe what I was hearing from you when you mention that the thumbs acting larger than its displayed size.
The tiny 1000x800 posts (largely but not exclusively from Pixiv) are getting out of hand, with people regularly spamming metric tons of them on the site at once. People keep doing this no matter how many are deleted, and we really don't need images so small they're blurry in fullscreen on a monitor.

Posts under 1.5mpixels now go into the moderation queue, and unless a moderator happens to like an image enough to approve it they'll probably just be deleted. Only 5 posts per user can be in the queue at a time (so people can't spam the queue); after that smaller posts are rejected.

Posts awaiting moderation aren't shown in the index by default; search with "pending:only" or "pending:all" to display them (like holds).
server move in the near future, saves money so why not right?
bump another server move is planned

server specs for those who are interested:

dual AMD Opteron Processors 6128 (16 cores)
64gb of ram
128gb ssd
5x 3tb hdds
1gbps unmetered link
if you're seeing this, means you're on the new server. Please report any issues
I don't see any tags...
I can see them fine. Where are they missing?
I believe he means that when you're browsing through posts, on the left where you should see all tags used on that page is not shown. I doesn't show for me at least (using chrome)
edit. tested with firefox, same problem
I can see this on FireFox, but not Chrome. Might be because I haven't restarted that browser yet.

If you search for a tag the list appears, but disappears if you go back to https://yande.re/post

EDIT: Saying that, Chrome is exhibiting the same issue.
Can you try again, it seems to be working now?
Yeah, sorry. I mean the main page listing.

And they're back now. :>
tag list on main index expires after few hours, so people have to upload new images to get it to update
raid is rebuilding again, only one more HD left till all Seagates are replaced.
tag subscriptions enabled again, calculates every 6hours.
AAAA record added, we now have native ipv6 enabled.
we're back to ad free
so new feature...

We'll be working on getting the UI more complete in the coming few weeks.

Hopefully in the future tags can be localized as well, so for now you just get a UI change. Please enjoy browsing in your native language..
For the past couple days, the site has had around a 10-30 second delay on some page loads, particularly the initial load (SSL handshake?). Tested on two different computers, multiple browsers, and all experienced this issue.

I did a few network traces, and it would appear the source of the problem may be related to StartCom, your SSL provider.Their DNS servers don't seem to be responding with an ACK packets in a timely fashion, resulting in my computers sending out a bunch of SYN Retransmissions.
I've turned on cloudflare again, lets see if I get complaints about impossible to download images/pools again..

This should help with the ssl. (although I haven't ran in to the problem you've described)
It only started this weekend, but if you're weren't experiencing it, I guess StartCom must be having a routing problem or hardware failure on one of their backbone links. I checked StartCom's HTTPS forum, and the same problem was happening.

Anyway, it's back to normal now with Clouldflare enabled.
It takes an ungodly amount of time to load the new thumbnails though. I'd almost say longer than the sample jpegs, but that would be exagerating a little.
apparently StartCom's been under ddos..

I've modified the caching rules on cloudflare, hopefully thumbs should load faster
do we have any specific thread for locale feedbacks?
nope, but you can create one, maybe per language..?

Almost got stuck in the German interface too >.>
@admin2

Can you give us a heads-up when SPDY is activated and working? I see you talking about debugging it on Twitter, but at the moment I assume it's intentionally disabled?

too buggy

segfaults and leaks fd, will try again after it gets rolled in to nginx.
