Screening
This is related to these pictures:

and more. So I was able to find the original source (they're calendar scans) rather than wallpapers which is what the above have been made into (cropped and resized). However my uploads were all deleted due to screening. So they should be edited before I submit them to make sure all screening goes away? Or is there another thing that I must do since the wallpaper converted versions above are all still there even though they're tagged with screening.

I had 13 scans uploaded which includes the calendar and the cover.

EDIT: https://yande.re/wiki/show?title=Screening
Ah yes. Not familiar with image editing at all so this might take some time then. There seems to be many ways of doing this unless someone has a quick suggestion as how to do this instead.

EDIT: I don't have Photoshop but apparently GreycShop can be loaded into IrfanView! I'm playing with the iterations and that helps a lot with more iterations like 5 but I don't understand the other settings. Is there a more comprehensive guide somewhere?
The two you linked too need deleting. That's a pretty bad attempt at smoothing those images and must have been overlooked by the mods.

Maybe you can try to use Gimp , here : http://www.gimp.org/downloads/

Ah I see. I was a bit surprised that it remained for so long considering how it was tagged screening.

Thanks! Forgot about Gimp. However, still trying to stay with either that GreycShop or perhaps using XnConvert and try to filter out the noise. GimpeShop however I won't touch as GimpShop.com is a malware download. Besides, the guy who started that site did it out of bad intentions and took credit from the real guy who made GimpShop.

Is there anyway I can verify with anyone whether the scans I'm working on is clean enough to upload? I'm new to all this image editing like I said before so still a bit unsure of how "good" my work on it is. Plus not enough time too so I don't want to spend too much time on it.

Not enough mods.
Ok. I have uploaded 2 of them that are edited. I have them hidden from the index for now.

How do they look to you? Applied iterations of noise filters and then sharpened them (plus some other stuff). Took a lot of trial and error and they look good to me now but need comments to see if it's up to requirements according to yande.re. Thanks!
Uh, i will write more details maybe tomorrow but as a start, you need to resize it. 600dpi is too high for filtering since almost no images have that high DPI when printing. And always be careful about sharpening - I'd say the raw is already over-sharpened.

My quick try: post #279340

Wow it looked amazing! Also, where did you get the raw from? Was it from the original one that was uploaded? Anyways, so I should resize it first and then use filters? I was somehow thinking of using filters first and then resize but that would make no sense right? Regarding sharpening, I looked at the raw but it does not seem to have been processed at all so I'm confused about this point since I don't think there was any sharpening applied to it. But I think you are right since I think I might need to lessen the sharpening a bit.

For clarifications on DPI. What you meant is that when you scan a picture, you want as much details as you can get. For example, an image that is created on a computer 100x100 is then printed. You scanned the printed version at 600 dpi which would get as much detail from the printed image as possible. As a result, the scanned image in the computer would be possibly bigger than the original source. Therefore you would then resize it down a bit so that it's back to its "proper size"?

How to do (probably need Photoshop)
1. Change Lab 16bit
2. Dust & Scratches 4px on a & b channel (prevent color noise on edge)
3. Gaussian blur 0.6px on L channel
4. Change RGB 16bit
5. GREYCstration (-dt10 -p0.2 -a0.6 -alpha3 -sigma0 -gauss0 -iter2)
6. GREYCstration (-dt30 -p0.2 -a0.6 -alpha0 -sigma3 -gauss0 -iter2)
7. Change RGB 8bit
8. Save PNG

Probably it looks more beautiful if in half size.
I recommend LANCZOS filter at that time.

Ah I see. Thanks! I will use your tips and work on it again this weekend. And yes, I do use Lanczos since it seems to be the best quality (although slow).
