once ranka gets reinstalled the graphs will work..
I can't catch elis ATM, is it just me?
I don't even bother allowing elis to load any more it's so slow. I just switch to ranka immediately if elis is serving (which it seems to be a lot at the moment, guess it's her turn to be raped instead of sheryl heh).
there was a routing issue i saw but it was out of my control....elis might get faster, i found out thumb/samples were served off the same hd as the full size images so i'm in the process of moving those...
Latvia loves your speed ^^
I generally change url to ranka anyway since it's the closest server to me and always provides excellent speeds :)
see if elis is faster now..
100KB/S Max over here at China while I can go 256KB/S downloading using leecher - nobody would like that and I just right click and save.

Damn ISP (yes you're right, I'm talking about the very infamous CNC and China Telecom) never give good bandwidth to foreign sites, so I'd rather use a proxy. It's gonna be faster.

I'm the user of CNC.. When I just right click, ranka can run at 100+KB/s. But the thing troubled me most is uploading ;_; Because I can't choice a server to upload, elis is extremely slow..

Yeah, CNC sucks, and elis is extremely slow here.
With no leecher it takes 1minute to download 1MB.
Did you ever tried a proxy?
The last couple days been really slow. Actually ever since the server move it's been like this. I did a dns flush, but up until today it's been going smooth. So I hope for the best o/
I was experiencing slowdowns for days but I thought it is because the server is in Europe and I'm in the US. I was told that the closer you are to the server, the better the site's speed gets for you.

Since I'm far from the server, I should expect my loading speed to be sluggish...which means that is natural right?
It's very slow for me too (some slight improvements today).
I'm in Sweden, so were's the server located? It was faster before you decided to move....
From some days until now, it has gotten way slower than it used to be... I live in Brazil. I'm sorry, I hope it's not a problem to everybody.
Site speed also slowed here... using coupla ip's and servers... But mainly one in US and JPN seemed to have slowed... Heard it got moved
to Europe? Maybe i'll try France one. But overall
slowed for me : (
And don't worry Debbie! I'm
sure you're not a problem! As I believe you're helping by
providing a response and diff loc to map it out
on servers. Thanks Debbie! : )
Oh... I see. Thanks for the info too, Chikane Himemiya-san!
I'm glad to help, I wish I could do more.
Good luck with these servers!
Thanks for all the kindness Chikane.
the problem maybe thumbs, samples, and avatars..
when I cut off loading those images, the site is normal.

if you are using opera, turn opera turbo on.
It's pretty ordinarily fast for me right now.

Index pages definitely load slower for me in Opera than FF. I think it's just using fewer connections; FF3.5 is set to 15. Opera looks like it's using 4 or 5.
Seems good to me now, me and my 9 hops from the server.
Was pretty bad some 12 hours ago though. Just saying that it's not location that matters much atm :P
now the speed is not so bad after changed the max connection per a server on Opera preferences from default 8 to 20.
don't know just the site got stabled, or setting affected to the speed.
Things are running pretty fast right now

Still having some problem viewing the original size of the picture.
Ever since moe was migrated, navigating from page to page takes about 2-4 seconds before anything even _begins_ to load, with pages fully loading in about 4-6 seconds on average, which is horribly slow.

On the old server(s) pages began to load instantly and fully loaded in no more than 0.5 seconds.

That works out to about 10x slower...

The problem currently seems to lie with Sheryl (188.95.50.5) and Moe (188.95.50.4) which both seems to be having packet loss (and stalling) issues with speed fluctuating between 20KByte/s and 250KByte/s with a average of about 175KByte/s.

Elis (188.95.50.2) on the other hand is excellent with me being able to pull an average of 2.0MByte/s with speed topping out at 3.0MByte/s.

As a baseline, from the last remaining OVH server Ranka, I am also able to pull about 2.0MByte/s on average with speed topping out at 3.0MByte/s.

Since Moe, Sheryl, and Elis appear to all be in the same datacenter, you may want to look into why Moe & Sheryl are so much slower then Elis (Overloaded rack?).

The routing actually seems excellent to the new servers with only 8 hops (Ranka takes 16 hops) so that doesn't appear to be the problem.

Still getting a lot of 'The connection has timed out'

Even when creating the above comment via http://moe.imouto.org/forum/create

How ironic.

Not sure if this helps... Anyways now it back to the old issue, loading imouto takes anything from 10-25sec.

Sometimes there's some packet loss but i can't see that during browsing. It's usually ok.

Also in Northern California with the same issues: instant load before the move, now it takes a few seconds for anything to even show up.

Uh...speeds for me somehow doing okay.
Guess it's just a random thing. It may not be what it was before the move...like REALLY less than a second, but it's a big improvement.

Nevertheless, I'm still happy to see things load completely no matter what. Haven't encountered any "server reset" messages for days.
