jueony said: I don't think that's possible. If the link you clicked was just a normal url of amazon page, It is probably impossible for them to identify that the link was clicked in yande.re.
Even if Amazon somehow can identify the website where the link was clicked, the only thing they would know is the linked you clicked was in yande.re. They don't know we are sharing books unless they come here and check the posts. And there's no reason to do that. As you know, links to amazon pages are everywhere. Thousands (or even more) of links to amazon pages are clicked everyday from entire internet. I don't think they're checking all websites that have links to amazon.
hi jueony, http_referer is sent from a https site to a https site by default, usually not only a origin domain but also a path and query string. Only if each page expressly set content="no-referrer" in a meta tag (which can be done only by a sitemaster), then no referrer will be sent. I just wanted to check if yande.re's forum is setup like so. but seems not.
Yes, There are thousands of links to Amazon, but to a single tutorial book is not. They research what book is interested by what people. they get their business bigger that way. I'm saying this because I value yande.re and also wish this thread last long.
Considering yande.re's nature, we don't have to tell Amazon where it's from. Just change "https" to "http" will not send referrer.(in some case not enough) The below links are samples how a destination site sees you without "s". https://www.whatismyreferer.com http://www.whatismyreferer.com https://www.axfc.net/s/e.cgi http://www.axfc.net/s/e.cgi These sites only see domain without path, which relieves a bit. But this doesn't endorse how amazon exactly sees it.
