I was working as a voip engineer...but I also was on call 24/7, had to maintain networks, go out to the field to do maintenance, and desktop support...it sucked

it sounds interesting... i mean, you get to go to a lot of places rather than just desk jobs...

The Christmas season is coming and I already feel like I shoveled a fuck-ton of snow. The really messed up part about it is it hasn't snowed yet. God I hate snow now.

I'm hoping for a new computer and one of those Figma figurines. They're very rare to get.

I plan on getting presents they'd actually use this year.

i know how that goes... it's either you can't find an item that they want that they don't have... or items that you know that they want but couldn't find one... and you end up with something that seems useful but they rarely use it...

but in the end... it's the thought that counts...

if i were to be lazy... i'd simply give them financial boost on my part...

I had my most loneness Christmas in my study abroad year in japan...

It really sucks to be 8000 km from home, aways from the family in some suburb of a suburb with nobody to celebrate. But yeah, I hope the cake will be delicious!

somehow i'm not afraid ofL4D2's zombies and settings...

it's a great game... don't get me wrong...

but somehow it lacks the horror factor... it has a lot of fun factors as well as eye candies...

but fear never occurred to me when i played it...

i was looking for something like doom 3 or silent hill kind of horror factor...

I like the game a lot even though I agree with you. It's not a scary game but scary games aren't too much my thing xD I have dead space and I'm too afraid to play it

I wish Assassins Creed: brotherhood would be released already so I could ask for it for christmas... I've already played AC 1 and 2 through and they were great but I might have to get new pc for the third one as even the second one was a bit laggy for me ):

I don't think the creators were going for the horror thing for Left 4 Dead. It's a lot like Zombieland, it's not big on the horror factor, but more like the comedy factor. I thought that Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 were pretty funny.

Besides that horror video games are always pretty boring. I hate Silent Hill.

Get a Xbox 360. My cousin has Assassin's Creed, and it looks really good on it. And you'll save money, since Xbox's are pretty cheap around this time of year.

Unless you get a 1.5 trig External Memory Drive like my Dad did. They're getting really cheap nowadays too.

L4D 1 has a bit of a horror factor as compared to 2. i didn't about the gameplay but just the setting... though i would like a survival horror mmo...

Anyway...Aoie Emesai, Kyoushiro, and Syaoran, it makes sense to search for art of characters you love/like by using their original names (Japanese). Like for example: D.C.II's Otome, Yume, Koko, Nanaka, [even Maya...surprisingly], etc.

I get more results that way. You guys probably knew that but for me...I was kinda surprised at the time (What with getting blocked by certain sites sometimes).

What to ask for for Christmas...... I want my new house. We put in an offer for a house in a city closer to our grandkids, now we're waiting to see if they accept the offer. I'm impatient, the wait is killing me.

I could use some new anime, my son usually gets me some. My wife thinks I'm crazy for watching this stuff. (sigh) and you think parents are a problem.
