Post your desktop!
I thought this "would" be a good idea to share Interests and how we/you are as a person both IRL or whatever type fantasy you have/act as. For starters, the rules are simple:

- Be creative when submitting a screenshot (no, that default Windows XP luna theme and a gazillion shortcut links won't cut it)
- Max 3 links/screenshots per post.
- Having some basic info is good idea (but not a must if your using 3rd party apps that doesn't come with your OS, i,e Mac, Windows or any Linux distro)

Good luck!
First up I'm using Firefox 3.7a1pre (yes I do post complaints about minor bugs) with the Strata40 theme along with StrataBuddy. next up is foobar2000 with my own created layout done with Columns UI.

OS is Windows 7 and the task(super)bar is hidden with the ObjectDock as seen at the bottom. I might be using some core apps that I frequently use, such as OpenOffice and some other "key components" that I decided to hide for the time being. Anyways go on, flame or praise it's all up to you.
Mine is fairly boring and blank. I'll post up my Windows 7 desktop first and get to my other OS's later.

First pic is what my desktop looks like upon startup, second is with Firefox open. There's 2 separate profiles, one for each monitor (which is why there is a huge black space in the pictures).

Feito I totally love this idea, but I believe that I had already covered that with the Moe thread...I can just change the topic if you'd like. Makes things a lot simpler...And the response number would help you in your goal a lot too. XD

If you'd like me to, just respond. ; ) I'd be happy to help ya
I never see my desktop, I always have something open...

Mine simply has post #54209 as the BG and lots of text docs and folders, no really good reason to screen shot it and post it up, lol ^^
Mac OS X
First pic has some apps open and the dock shown, second pic is my blank desktop with the menu bar shown (both the dock and menu bar are set to auto-hide).

My Ubuntu desktop has pretty much nothing changed from stock apart from the wallpaper, so I won't bother posting that one.

Can I plead the fifth? I have a real Leopard install disc, if that's any consolation.

I'm to poor (atm) to afford a macbook, so that's mostly out of my league....
Haha is that why you've got that Dock at the bottom?

I noticed most of you have a high resolution display... what kind of monitor does everyone have? I've got two Dell Ultrasharps: a 2408WFP and a 2005FPW in portrait mode.
This is my current desktop: http://eternallybored.org/imgs/desktop22.jpg
However, I usually only see this when booting up and shutting down. Typically, my workspace looks something like this: http://eternallybored.org/imgs/desktop.png
Running Windows 7 x64 (and pretty much only beta, alpha or pre-alpha software).

As for my monitors, they're Dell 3008WFp and Samsung 244T.
Slightly shopped and size adjusted version (1920x1080 and moved up a bit so it fits nicely on a no longer used second monitor at 1152x864) of http://konachan.com/post/show/24179/

Your screen resolutions are so excellent. I'm truly impressed.
And you do have exotic OS.
Lol at midzki's desktop.

Mine is a quite simple W7 desktop... But it does tell something about myself, lol. http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/8496/mydesktopa.jpg
