See, this is why you need many, many tags on any given danbooru variant. This is a great picture, but if you aren't browsing the artist's gallery (which in this case you have no reason to, as this is the only image in it) and you weren't lucky enough to find it in the first ten pages or so of the "all posts" view, you will NEVER find it.

I doubt many tags can help to find new artists you didn't know.
with tags, you are just searching your fetish tags and couldn't notice out of them. without tags, you need to browse all and have to remember decent artist names.

...I suppose that makes sense, but I still think that it's waaaaaaay too hard to find really good images in the sea of whatever obscene number of posts are on the site at this point. Especially nice images that also are not porn.

There's no possible way to tag the personal opinion of a single user. You want to find "great pictures" you're going to have to view at least all the artists and circles, no matter how many tags you attach to images.

Better to just use the site's random options to come across older posts. Find artists, circles, copyrights, characters you like. Or go by vote count of course, if you believe in the opinion of the masses.

it makes sense if here is the site correcting huge amount of random pics. (and there is danbooru filling this demand. no need to create a duplicate site) but we encourage to upload only high quality arts, deleting low quality ones. ideally, all of them must have value to check them.
