That girl is actually Otose and the guy in the blue is her husband. The guy on the right is Jirochou. You'll know about him if you read the latest chapters.
Though the younger Otose should be recognizable even to those who haven't read the latest chapters, since she's appeared earlier in both the anime and manga.

Rather than a season break, they're waiting for the manga to build up more so that the anime can have more material. So for now, the anime's hiatus is indefinite, but the anime's director has stated that the anime will return eventually.
