it's a grind game. you bash about 10 minutes on a BAM-Monster, moving a couple of feets away if the monster makes an forward attack - and that is. The quest system is so old - it may be the same system as in most other mmos - but it's even worse made in Tera - it really stand out how you walk to an outpost - take every quest there is, while it's highly conspicuous how there is always exactly 1 killing quest for 1 monster in the closer area - and then you go out, kill the required amount of every monster type - report back - and get guided to the next outpost - a couple of meters up ahead the street - and there you repeat the same pitiable routine.
There are many more to say about that game, but people get blended by graphics and a cross hairs - but geting only a few skills as a punishment for this system. I asked a lvl 52 Korean Archer gamer, why he use always the same skill and he told me, that he has only 2 real attack skills - rest would be gimmick. that's the way with all classes in Tera.
Despite this, as an Animefan, I have a problem to play a game right from the start where me and the publishers seems to be hostile. The censorship they made about the Elins while letting the Castanics and HighElf running around in fucking corsets indicates about a real canting moral I don't want to support.
Last but not least - the game releases about the same time as Guild Wars 2 - and heck I have not a single argument to favorite Tera upon badass GW2.
