Cell-shade doesn't match Sayori's delicate lineart. The high-saturation colors, neither.
She is free to make her art as she wants to, but that doesn't mean the result will be good.
The soft-shades worked better with her lineart. I hope she realizes that soon.

There's nothing bad, but it looked better soft-shaded. Either way, I hope she gets to a combination that suit her tastes. This is what matters the most, after all.

The high contrast shading is becoming quite common in recent eroge nowadays too, and I for one don't think it's bad at all.

cell-shading has been used for a looong time, it's nothing new. it likely takes less time, sayori is a professional now, married, and likely doesn't have as much time as she did before.

Kantoku and Karory doesn't cell-shade, but yeah, even Kobuichi's shades are getting sharper and with less colors...
It's not bad, it's quite good if you can do it right. I just think the previous one looked better with Sayori's lines, IMO.
It DOES take A LOT less time, hahaha. I mean, insane less time.
That might be a good explanation to why she changed her coloring, a very professional matter... Hadn't thought about it.
