This newer sayori just doesn't look as nice as the older stuff like post #92380 for example
i still like her style. artists can't experiment with their styles?
It feels like less effort put into it

The newer style looks way stronger like not so blurry and it's more outlined.
Cell-shade doesn't match Sayori's delicate lineart. The high-saturation colors, neither.
She is free to make her art as she wants to, but that doesn't mean the result will be good.
The soft-shades worked better with her lineart. I hope she realizes that soon.
Sayori seems pretty lewd, dude.

She's simply following a trend...

this, there's nothing bad with her work.
Following a trend? Is there a cell-shade trend going on? I didn't know about that.
There's nothing bad, but it looked better soft-shaded. Either way, I hope she gets to a combination that suit her tastes. This is what matters the most, after all.

The high contrast shading is becoming quite common in recent eroge nowadays too, and I for one don't think it's bad at all.

cell-shading has been used for a looong time, it's nothing new. it likely takes less time, sayori is a professional now, married, and likely doesn't have as much time as she did before.
Kantoku and Karory doesn't cell-shade, but yeah, even Kobuichi's shades are getting sharper and with less colors...
It's not bad, it's quite good if you can do it right. I just think the previous one looked better with Sayori's lines, IMO.
It DOES take A LOT less time, hahaha. I mean, insane less time.
That might be a good explanation to why she changed her coloring, a very professional matter... Hadn't thought about it.
