she only has the double mechanism on her left abdomen because the one in the original position is broken...

maybe patching up a new one and sealing the damaged one is more logical than replacing the whole for a quick fix...

why is it green is a question i am less concerned of than why is the mechanism's design is similar to the mechanism on her shoulders...

which is only true for the prototype plugsuit that bears multiple smaller mechanisms on that area similar to the ones placed on the shoulders...
