こんにちは、イラストレータ一のMitha(みさ）と申します。
第2回のテ一マは「日本の四季」ということで、夏を選んでみました。

現実なのか夢なのか…判然としない、夏の夜の不思議さを描いてみましたが、いかがでしょうか。

個人的に丸窓がとても日本的だと感じたので、今回のモチーフとして採用してます。
そして、女の子はもちろん和服ですね。
人のようでいて、ちょっと妖精にも見えるようなキャラクターに描けたと思っています＾＾
幻想的で煌びやかな雰囲気が出ているといいな〜。


Hello, my name is Misa and I am an illustrator.
The theme for this, the second exhibition, is ‘Japan’s Four Seasons’，so I decided to use summer.

I drew this picture depicting ‘the strangeness of a summer’s night, when it is difficult to tell if things are real or whether you are dreaming—what do you think?

Personally, I feel that round windows are very typical of Japan, so I used one as a motif in this illustration, and of course, the girl is wearing a kimono. Although the subject is a person, I think that I have succeeded in also giving her a fairylike appearance. ＾＾
I hope that you can feel the wondrous, glittering atmosphere.
