The left one seems to be ethanol fermentation. I don't think there is sure thing as CH3CHOH on the right.
It could be CH3CH(OH)CH3 or anything like it. (and we have a chemist/chemical engineer here!)

"=>" is used for retrosynthesis. The reaction A => B + C describes the synthesis of A from B and C.
