Call me weird, but I noticed the earlier Nanoha official art featured a lot of detail (relatively) on their feet. Now they look way simpler.

It always made me think "... why?"

Nanoha used to be a franchise aimed mainly towards lolicons. So they did detailed drawings of the girls in order to make them more attractive.
Now it's not lolicon anymore, and the lolis are just there for cuteness at most, so they don't detail their bodies.

Actually the feet detail was also present in the adult Nanoha series.

But yeah, suddenly it just got dropped. Art is still good though
