How difficult (or appropriate) would it be if someone just removed the text and posted it as a child-wall? Might be possible to even get 16:9, especially if the left edge was extended a bit.

It is still wallpaper, as there are *plenty* of purposed/official 16:10 wallpapers out there (probably more so than 16:9), as well as monitors that favor it over the traditional "Full HD" ratio. Also, Over Drive has been posting calender wallpaper like this for a while now…

I mentioned mostly getting rid of the text, though resizing for 16:9 wouldn't be hard now either -- but since others don't really seem keen on that format (hey, it works on my TV! ;-)), I'll post a 16:10 for a 2560x1600 monitor...
Note: this is just as a 'trial balloon' (it's not really something I'd consider finished, BUT as it is, it's not TOO FAR off the quality of this original). post #306714 is a child of the original (in this case a 2560x1600) -- though I extended the sky on both sides enough to make a HD-ratio as well (that would obviously show less JPG artifacting.
