This image, which is used in ANN, is a bad representation of the series. Makes it look a bit lolicon and overly-anime shoujo style where girls have eyes the size of their fists which isnt actually the art style used in the series.

Shuns off people who don't like those styles very much with prejudice and deprives them the chance to enjoy a decent slice-of-life.

Yeah, but they're using this image on the anime entry, and it's just not correct as far as the look of the anime at all. What makes it particularly strange is that ANN's Kamichu! manga entry uses a different image, one that's much closer to the anime's art style. (Which is correct, as I recall the manga's art was almost the same as the anime's.) （￣～￣;） So I have to agree with Atys, ANN should change the image to be more accurate. ヾ(´･ω･｀)

The show was mediocre in my opinion, but it had an excellent English dub - same voices as Haibane Renmei, which is the only reason I watched it - too bad Geneon doesn't do dubs anymore
