This anime is weird, I saw it last November.

The anime overall is "Mildly ecchi" with some more uhm "eplicit ecchi" scenes....AND THEN there's an episode where, with an excuse, the guy literally put 2 fingers in that black-haired girl bum, I was like WOAH what's with this excessive spike towards hentai all of the sudden O_o

The story and action animation actually decent for ecchi series. Kinda in DxD territory. At least not bad enough to drop midway.

I don't know. The visuals of DxD the original 3 seasons never did anything to me. The design change with season 4 (Hero) was a huge improvement.

Personally, when I saw official art of DxD Hero I thought it was a huge downgrade - became very typical moeblobs (which I'll have to guess is just what the market wants now) which made me lose interest, the originals were more mature and sexy and resembled the original designs. That look tends to work well for action ecchi for me like with Freezing.& older shows

For me it looked generic and plasticy. I wouldn't call the new one moe blob design, but it's definitely softer. As for preference, Seikon no Qwaser. Or the same character designer did Kenzen Robo Daimidaler and I think that has better visuals too.

Oh yeah SnQ was fantastic. I guess for me it's more old school vs modern moe, especially Rias. Many did look generic but I loved Rias, Xenovia etc who looked more sexy & badass/dominating than the usual victims of a perverted MC. Reminds me of older shows where most of the girls are cool/hot moreso than cute (like Ikkitousen).

I only saw art & a couple clips tho, might check it out
