Edit | Respond

this time i had to do a colout correction on the whole image and to repaint some body parts, not all, i must note. image wasn't cropped since it would remove artwork pixels. now that i look again that matress colours are horribly off even after retouch. my guess is that artist used PG36 watercolour or some odd mix and it gave mushy undertones. scanner killed flesh tones, so skin was beyond what you'd call healthy. Tamon' left thigh had to be redone also.
if you are not satisfied or see some other problems, we can discuss, and i will redo.
i would appreciate some comment so i can improve. enjoy!
ps. damn, this matress colours is killing me.
pps. if you paint in watercolours, pick PG7, it is more versatile and permanent.
What did you base the color correction on?
Seeing as it's a Megami scan, I still haven't forgotten forum #9548

I lost track of what happened there.

based on my basedness. i would slap another orange tinted layered, but some folks might disagree. let's pretend girls have very transparent skin and are cold.
In this situation the best thing to do is find another version of this image, and base the color correction off of that. I don't advise changing it to what you think works best.

I'll see if I can find it, but really you should do this yourself.

Try using Image Search Options on the Chrome store

you're kidding, right? what's chrome store?
i ASSUMED this booru is the prime source of scans...

yeah, i saw that one. it is smaller, other source, too low contrast and yeah skin tones are 4° warmer. flag my post for deletion if you like. no problems.

Are you intending to alter the images, such as with the nude shops, or to fix and repair them? If you alter the color temperature from what the artist agreed upon then you are not strictly repairing the image.
>chrome
I gave you a link, so do with it what you will. If you want to discuss Chrome start a thread in the forum please

As above

You are really going off the rails now. Let's keep the conversation focused on repairing these poorly scanned images.

i know! but i doubt that artist intended to paint green skin girls. and i bet it was printed on cheap paper, also read my comment on pigment. flag it then. i'll recheck that image later, in another 14 years.
Sorry, I'll have to flag this as the color hue is wrong according to what I can find. If only someone had those original scans...
Until recently I probably could have confirmed from the actual original poster from the original magazine. Sadly I had to move recently and was forced to throw a lot of my old Megami and Dengeki magazines away. No space for them anymore.

Ah. No worries. I thought you were being sarcastic.
While we don't know what the correct color is , the original post obviously isn't quite right.
We can keep this.
