If it's a FREE paid reward that can be access by anyone even without login then there's no reason not to add the source.

I'm browsing the comments section, and you happened to upload the free image from the artist fanbox I've subscribed.
II can see the reason didn't include the paid reward source because maybe the uploader didn't exactly sure which post from paid reward was from if upload from exhentai or other places, but didn't get the reason not to include source from free paid reward if the uploader just check the artist paid reward site.

Why should I check it when I see *fanbox* in the source? Of course I think it's a paid reward then.

Besides: there are planty of posts from twitter that didn't have a source.

I know but you have to select her if you want her outfit or you get random cosplay stuff.

Edit: Did you used both of the tags in the search-function? I get some results so I wonder.

Usually you always upload paid reward and hold them first, but this time it's not, So either you missed the hold tag on both images or you knew it's free that didn't need to hold.

Neither of both.
I didn't wanted to hold them bc Danbooru post them. (Same with post #841806) As I told you before: I didn't knew it was free. *sigh*

I can understand BQY, if I saw a pivix link I would assumed it was behind a paywall too. Please note that Danbooru did banned uploading paid rewards a few months ago and would only allow images from paid platform (Patreon/Fanbox/Fantia) if the image is free to access and see. Assuming you got the image from Danbooru, they're an high chance it was a free reward.

So does the hold apply to just released paid images and for how long? And I guess if the paid image has been released more than a month, it should not need to be held?

It's not a must to hold paid rewards. But if you do (bc to avoid spamming the index or whatever reason) the posts shouldn't stay for so long in the hold position. A month is already to long for holding imo.
