over 15 years agoIs there any sort of translation wanted tag?

over 15 years agoindex pages / text aren't shown in index although, but it can be searched on pools, or tags.
it's not work because there are no translators here (even if I can, but translating mother language into foreign language takes extra time. I don't have enough time/energy to do it)

over 15 years agoeven if it's against moe's policy, I think they should retain, and should be established their links bacause they have possibility to develop your/our skills.

Could be useful to artists who use moe as reference/inspiration

over 14 years ago1) lighter shadow
2) mid shadow
3) darker shadow
4) gradation (used only on long hairs)
5) highlights
6) reflection lights (if only there are enough time to do)

over 14 years agoBut I normally first make a soft shadow, with gradation, and soft lights. Then one to hair dark details, one to light details. Then another, to general shading, dark colors, but not darker than the dark details. Then another to general lightning, not too light otherwise the hair will look fluorescent. Finally one to the reflection lights, that "glow" on the characters bangs.
I think making the dark details layer first is good, because they take the lead to the ways so you can make good general shading, with movement. Um, I hope the English is enough so you can understand what I mean...

over 14 years agoI am also wondering what sort of brush shapes or blending techniques she uses.

As for brush shapes, either Sayori makes them herself, or she gets them from random websites. The pictutres too small for me to exactly tell where she got the brushes, sorry! D:

over 14 years agoIdeally, I don't want to have to worry about limiting the resolution and layers of my photoshop work. I haven't run into a problem yet, but there are graphic designers who design images with hundreds of layers. Obviously that requires a lot of RAM or a large scratch disk. I think Kantoku uses 12 gigs now. =0
Debbie
over 14 years agoI have 3 GB on mine and I can barely open a PSD file... *sigh* So 1 GB can make such big difference. Photoshop is so heavy. PS 7 is good and functional, I might install it again... Right now I'm questing for something between SAI's simpleness and PS's brushes features. If anyone has ideas...
12 gigs?... Wow. GL Riven! Hehe. I hope you get a very good computer. A good tablet helps too.

over 14 years agoI have XP, and PhotoShop CS4 works fine. *Shrugs.* Must depend on the kind of computer, how much gigs you have, and RAM you have after all, I guess.
I've always wanted to get Paint tool SAI, but I don't have any money. ;-;
