Why can't some of the large images on this site be downloaded in full resolution? I've run into this many times already. Most often it is dakimakura. Some images, like this one, I can't find anywhere else in their original quality. This is a cultural heritage that needs to be carefully protected, but perhaps some things will be lost forever due to a technical error? Sometimes, it's truly crushing! I want this image in 2948x9213! Where can I find it? I downloaded a 70 GB dakimakura archive of this site from a well-known tracker, and there are full quality images that cannot be downloaded here now. Please fix this...

Click the question mark in front of "dakimakura" tag to see its wiki page. There's nothing to fix, this is intentional.

Thanks for answering. It's very cruel. So I don't have any way to get the original at all? The resolution in which it is presented here makes no sense at all. I am very painful about this.
Original size images of dakimakura are hidden to normal users to prevent abuse.
Is it the file size or something else?
Is there a way to become an "abnormal user"? If this requires uploading images and tagging, I'm even ready for it. I have some experience on another site.
At least I'm glad that the source file is stored on the site.

Oh, there is a way, but you’ll have to find it yourself. See it like a treasure hunt, kinda.
Just a tip: check the URL of the original sizes.
