that's not how sources on this site work. You post where YOU got the file and where YOU found it. If they got it from Pixiv then the source is pixiv.

As an aside, they are "pixel-perfect duplicates". Same file hash. Sites like Danbooru would reject the Pixiv file if it was posted after the Twitter copy despite it having a slightly larger file size.

I never claimed that these were the "Real" source, only alternative sources to quasi-equivalent images from the same artist.

Say for example that one artist decides to delete his Twitter account, wouldn't be handy to have an alternative source for the image to his Pixiv account?

Saucenao provides excellent browser extensions that will look for any source for the image you right-click on. That's also why no one posts alternate sources.

Oh yeah! I use that site (usually for posts on reddit) first time hearing it had an extension tho

Just tried with this post's picture, SauceNao didn't find the Twitter's "Alternative" source that I posted.

Guess I'm better than SauceNao :>

I don't have that button, the only search options the extension displays to me are:
- SauceNAO search
- IQDB Search
- TinEye Search
- Google Search
- All

Try left-clicking on your image, then chose Image search options from the context menu.
The right-pointing arrow should get you to a sub-menu of all the image search engines.

ascii2d should be in the list.

You are using the Chrome version of the extension where you need to add it in Options
