glasses is a must...
Rarity is my favorite unicorn.
Glasses and headphones, not bad :P
Your GCN (NGC) still work Wtf?

How big is your room by the way?
That's not my bedroom lol.
It's the gameroom.
Oh. Small "gameroom" then.
Your gameroom or everyone's?
Heh.
Nevermind about the small part. I see there's more to it.

Who's the better game person in your house?

For me, it is me...except when it comes to luck based games like Mario Party 4 and over. For them it's my youngest sister. Luck is on her side. Skill is mine.
My sister is shitty at games lol. It's cause she's extremely lazy at learning the mechanics of a game like rpgs; and only sticks to easier adventure games.

Not really sure how she managed to get 3 characters to Inferno mode in Diablo3 though lol.

Had this thing for 3 years now...finally unsealed its box. \o/

Btw, dafuq is up with the topic title?
oh wow... that's a nice looking figure...

do you have other sealed figures?... i heard that it's bad to keep them sealed for a long time...
What? That's news to me.
I have some that has never been opened to keep them preserved unlike the others that are opened (and damaged) during the moves.
How exactly is it bad to keep them sealed in their cases?
It's the only figure I have lol.
the plastic on the packaging could have a chemical reactions to the figure's plastic... as well as the figure's plastic should "breathe" out of its box...
I wonder how much time would it take for that to happen since the few ones I have that is still in boxes for years now seem to be okay. Does the weather help in any way like if it gets too hot?

They've been okay so far staying a bit below room temperature although this Summer will be even hotter so I need to make more preparations.

it depends on the materials itself... especially the plasticizers... it may or may not happen... but i wouldn't want to discover which of my figures can or can't the hard way...

there's actually a letter made by a staff from GSC about airing the figures out of their boxes so that the fumes from it will not have a reaction to the plastic packaging... but i forgot where to find it... i think i read somewhere from another GSC staff's blog...

http://mikatan.goodsmile.info/en/2012/10/18/kuroyagi-san%E2%80%99s-letter-corner-number-65/

somewhere in there... search for "damage"...

what i do with mine is keep them in display cases with tiny ventilation holes on its base...

should the sticky phenomenon did happen... i tried this to my stickyfied snorlax figurine...

have 2 basins (i used disposable food containers)...

fill them with water...

add a mild dishwashing liquid in one of the basins... it would be helpful if it's a degreaser kind of dishwashing liquid... as long as it's mild...

dip your figure for about 20 minutes in it...

then dip it on the one without the dishwashing liquid... for about 10-20minutes... we're just rinsing it by this process... i mean... without touching the plastics... because some figure surfaces are easily tainted when rubbed even by fingerprints... especially ones that has a fluffy soft appearance... mostly the surfaces that mimics skin... they became unrealistically un-matte when you try cleaning it with your fingers or cotton...

if it's impossible to clean it without rubbing... like it's too oily and dirt already got into the surface... one suggests the use of microfiber cloth to rub the dirt off...

when drying the figure with a cloth... always pat... do not rub...

leave it in the open to dry before storing... to prevent fungal growth...
Who would honestly leave their figures baking in 35+ degree temps rofl.
we will never know the situations of a sudden temperature rise...
but the oil crawls out and don't go back... it can be cumulative during those sudden hot days and power outages prevents you from using an air conditioner...

that... or you're living in some cold place... for you to be not thinking of these sort of things...

the first time i heard of this is from this guy...

http://www.figure.fm/en/post/14675/PVC+material+degrading.html

this guy's situation may be hypothesized that the boxed figures has accumulated a certain amount of humidity than the unboxed ones... given that the boxes are not airtight...

a prolonged humidity and trapped fumes may be the cause of this phenomena...

another could be that there is this paint gradient agent that is used in these figures that somehow didn't work well on prolonged concentrated exposure with the fumes...

there are a lot of factors for figures to degrade like this...

like a bad production batch... which explains why same figures didn't end up the same on a same environment...

or the figures received an adequate exposure during shipping... but not giving an immediate reaction... like i said... the oil tends to move out... once it moves it don't just simply crawl in back to place... it just stays there until a condition enables it to move out again...
I don't collect them, so I'm not worried about such things. :P
I just happen to have grabbed one years ago lol.

Also: Three or five days of a broken a/c wouldn't be doing anything much.
i don't know if you understand cumulative... as well as irreversible, cakes...

but i do hope it would be helpful information for azd...

it happened to my snorlax figure though... and that is one fact your last statement cannot deny...

i am... not really a pokemon person... but i do like the design on that one particular pokemon...
Sorry, I guess it's just something that I couldn't be arsed about since I'm not into figurines.

LUUUUNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!>>
come to think of it... azd is quite unpresent eversince...

it would be funny if it's because he's checking on his figures until now...
Oh I'm still here.
(Browsing the Touhou page daily)

I haven't responded since I found out my mother is now a diabetic.
I went through some mood changes after hearing that.
I guess I'm fine...somewhat.

So the topic; yeah I won't be swimming and that stuff this time since I'm more worried about the person mentioned in this post.
Also my SSA may kick in full effect if the cold after-effects from being in the cold water hits me hard in my bones.

So who will be doing what's mentioned in the title? Anyone will be going on vacation or whatnot?

Hey Wtf, is Aurelia on IRC?
I see.
I hope she's doing alright.

A good chance she missed out on the Pokemon events.
I had messaged her about them each time (we were Pokemon buddies somewhat) but since I haven't got any replies this year, I stopped.
The woman has a big opportunity ahead for her so it would be wrong for me to keep bothering her about something as small as Pokemon.

Well I wish good fortune for her.

Aoie will you be swimming and such?
I like swimming, i hate salt water. I'll probably go to a lake for a swim or something like that. Otherwise i'll be working to pay off the new car.
You hate salt water because...la de da...it messes with your skin?
i am terrified of swimming... or any bodies of water that is higher than me... not to mention... fish...
