they do sound like wind flowing through large surfaces... a steady flow of this noise calms the senses from any abrupt change of sound and its volume...

I'm gonna say it was annoying to do all that.

Anyway, I've been scared the past days ago when the electricity went haywire and the winds blew fierce with brief but heavy rainfall.
Looked out side my window and witnessed horror.

A f***ing 60 MPH Tornado went past us.The sky was freaking dark around the Tornado. Everything went so fast and ended fast. Me and the neighbors are alive of course since the tornado was in Chicago at the time but I saw it go by fast and blowing wind and rain toward us.

I guess I should be thankful we weren't in its direct path. Hope everyone that was is okay. I wonder where that son of a Mother Earth Bitch was heading to in such a hurry? Who made Earth cry or pissed her off?

It seems Mother Nature from Earth wasn't done yet.

Another Tornado...or Twister...whatever that was hours ago went past us and did some damage.
Tiny damage to our house (Our back gate is gone).
Some damage around us.
Huge damage just a couple blocks away from us.

Good thing nobody live in that house since it was being sold...well not anymore!
I never seen a tree's roots before. I have today. That poor tree is knocked over, hit that house and the concrete has been pulled from the ground.

The house across from our house has a tree laying on the roof of that house.
Leaves, rain, and wind came flying toward my window and nearly knocking my air conditioning out of the window.
When it's this hot and cold air hits that somewhere, bad s*** will happen sooner or later it seems.

This s*** is scaring me more. I really hate late Spring to Summer.

ah... i have seen the roots of knocked down trees several times...

i feel sad than scared when i see them... but i guess it's because i only saw them after the storm... and not during...

I'd love having weather like that. Instead we get evening clouds that roll through with lightning, no rain though.

So my week got more exciting today, I've come down with a friggin' cold! If there's anything more I hate than being sick, is being sick in the summer. Trying to get rest when it's hot sucks. Thankfully, with how fast it came on today, I'm hoping it's just the 24 hour cold or whatever and will be gone tomorrow.

No idea. I hate it when I do, though. Felt like a cross between a head cold and some crazy allergies acting up. Lasted only a day (thankfully).
