Nothing wrong in speaking in a different language. If they don't know English (even if they do but desires not to use English), let them ask and answer questions in a language they know of to another person that knows the same language.

If you are really curious to know what they are saying, use the Automatic Machine Translation [AMT] Tool (Google or whoever) to assist you...if it can.

Oh - when it comes to Japanese or Chinese? The AMT isn't much help then. Japanese and I assume Chinese as well are a free-order language. Words are scrambled...at least that's what I know from that experience when translating to English.

actually,it's not difficult to understand for us.(at least I think so)
most of us just can't explain what we want to say correctly .

What I was trying to said was we can't know we can communicate with them who is using other languages before using English.
Even if we can understand what they are saying, we can't reply to them if they aren't reading English.

If someone can't READ English here, I think this site maybe is not for him...

why there are always complains about using chinese in english websites? i have seen this many times right here on moe, and i was thinking, how about english typing people go to chinese website and type english there? will chinese people be wondering why the foreigners are typing english not chinese? there are no explicit rules that u cant type chinese on english site, and vice-versa. why there chinese here anyway? becoz china's policy is so strict that sites like moe that contain uncensored material wouldnt even able to survive a day? thats why they have to visit english sites and comment on whatever it is? i separate the chinese commenting group and english commenting group. lets jus stop questioning if the chinese group will actually understands english comment. let them have their own conversations and leave the english comments alone, if their english isnt so good after all. i believe there are many english commentators here are actually chinese, and they do know chinese grammar as well, since i m one of them. there is no wrong about chinese english typer typing english, as long as the others dont get the wrong point. however, if the chinese typers misunderstood the english comments and began to complaining about it, i will support the english commentators to bombard the chinese people so the problem can be justified.

I find Wall-o-text more annoying than the non-existent complaining.
