Connection reset
For several days now server most of the time just resets my connections (ERR_CONNECTION_RESET), whether http or https.
I can access this website with Tor, but such method is slow and unreliable.
Please check what is going on.
This is strange, can you try using a VPN?
Why VPN? Tor provides the same feature of traffic redirection using different IP address.
But if it is really needed, please say what exactly VPN is needed and I will try to install it in my Windows 7 virtual machine.
Another option to see how website is looking from different addresses is with services like "check-host".
I tried it and for several locations result was like mine: Connection reset by peer.
This? https://check-host.net/check-http?host=https://yande.re/post

Except Iran and Russia, pretty much no issue elsewhere.
Yes.
The thing is - something was sending that RST packet.
There are many websites blocked by my ISP, but all of them just produce timeouts because of it.
That's why I thought RSTs are happening on the other side (or somewhere inbetween).

Right now direct access works again.
Will see if problem appear in future.

update: 1 hour later resets appear again (direct access is broken).
Packet sequence just in case:
1 packet: -> SYN
2 packet: <- SYN, ACK
3 packet: -> ACK
4 packet: <- RST, ACK
Can it be that server is not allowing to have several simultaneous connections?
Now I have direct access again, but only with one browser (which holds connection with TCP Keep-Alives).
Other browser at the same time gets RSTs.

Yes, there's a limited number of connection available per IPs
I tried accessing this website using different computer with different IP address, but using the same physical connection.
Result: connection from second IP worked fine, even while using several browsers simultaneously.
From which I make conclusion that my first IP address is banned somehow.
And because you did not said it explicitly, I assume that mechanism of such ban is unclear.
Looks like unjustified decision by some "protection" mechanism (AI?)
AI adding extra finger to image is unpleasant, but tolerable.
But AIs breaking internet access all around the world is unacceptable.
I cannot afford any "AI" to detect abuse yet, well, not until Huang kami decide to discount his GPU by a large margin or someone else makes something dirt cheap and work just as good.

And as you mention, you only have this problem recently, it must be something else on your side.

Just in case you wonder, I didn't touch the server for a few months now
Are there auto updates enabled on the server?

RSTs arrive with ~20ms delay, the same delay as correct responses have.
So I assume problem is somewhere near the server.

If you didn't touched server, then your hosting provider may have changed something.

Another possibility is that someone somewhere recently decided that my IP is dangerous and someone else decided that it's a good idea to issue bans using low quality lists of dangerous IP addresses.

At this moment, problem is not with access (I already routed this website through Tor), but with lack of ability to understand what is going on. Someone else without experience of using Tor/VPN/proxies may now look at the same reset message, but no one will help him and no one will even know that problem exists.
I kinda figured out what is going on.
Most likely, connections are intercepted and broken by your provider.
I have 16 connections to 198.251.80.0/20 subnet right now and when I try to make another one, for example, to 198.251.84.163:22, same RST appears.
So it is either limit of 16 connections per subnet, or some restriction for connections to 22 port.
Seems like they don't know that having such amount of connections is completely normal for those services.
files.yande.re is down again.

The IP address subnet you're testing are protected IP against regular exploits (as well as floods) and as such most ports are locked. I won't be changing provider.
files.yande.re is back up for me. All images are loading. Thanks for that link.
