Taging system
I understand that Moeimouto has the rules for tagging each image with at least the "notag" if it's not Id at the moment? But as i'm sure users have noticed, there's lots of useless tages like Miko, shirts and especially colors like red, blue, orange...etc etc etc. Much of the time i'm here i'm removing them cause I do think they are useless tags. The tags like blue eyes and so I'm ok with, but what would be considered a useless tag?
well for anyone that still wants to know.

p.s. Mikos are never useless. Ever.
miko >>>>>>>>> eye colors.

But at any rate, moe.imouto takes a minimalistic approach to tagging. Series and character only for the most part; artist if known. Sometimes I see tags that explain the source material (magazine, stick poster, etc).

But I believe the rules state that tagging is otherwise restricted to a very small number of the "attribute" (clothing, actions, physical features...) tags. When char/series/artist are unknown, these become more important. An image simply tagged 'tagme' effectively does not exist once it's more than a few pages back in the list. And that's a shame for all the effort that often goes into posting them!
I have to agree that items lacking in artists or where they come from should have a bit more tags, if only I knew a bit more Japanese I can source quite a few of my uploads, some are from soon to be released eroges..
Bump, I've changed some of the tagging standards its less strict and should help with images that have just tagme as its only tag. I've also removed the threat of banning because it would be rather pointless to get banned for tagging too much.

But if I remember correctly you DID ban one person for tagging too much. You should keep that open as an option...
Well... Sometimes when i'm on a roll, I do tag lots and lots of images. But I do agree on unidentifyed one to be more tagged than others just so other users can try to identify them.

Sometime I think it's okay to have some rather useless tags for some users who may specifically looking for like blue eyes or something along that line. But overall, it's just better not to even begin tagging like that.
