Idea: Wouldn't be easier to upload the PDF file with different layers instead of having 10 different JPGs?

I know PDF files aren't as portable and compatible as JPG / PNGs but I think for some users having a single file with all the variations within would be more manageable

That is, if the artist even released the PDF file to begin with

I will keep both files, and the layers released by some artists are locked. A single file may be easy to manage, but it is very troublesome to install software that can read the layers.

I think you mean PSD? Like they said ^^, you need software to open psd in the first place, this site will not allow the user to just open the psd file and browse the layers (assuming the psd is available in the first place).

But if you meant pdf containing all the variants, its a neat idea, but again, I don't think the site will allow uploading of pdf, only the image formats are supported.

If you can’t afford to subscribe for an annual Photoshop license, you still can use GIMP instead: it’s free (both as FOSS and gratis) and it can open PSD files. And it’s available for the 3 main OSes on PC.

Meanwhile, me on mobile stuck with Photopea, with my phone apparently 'not having enough RAM' to work with PSD, that's more than just 5-10 layers, sigh
