about 12 years agoI have done all the cropping and piece work now,but there is a problem with my laptop.
I use 32bit system so I only can use 2.7G memory(because of my old motherboard)
when the action running to the greyc to remove noise,it will show Out Of Memory(I only run photoshop) and then the greyc will crash(sometime the photoshop or my laptop will crash too)
so I only can fix some text page and the small size(it looks likes post #229774 is the maxsize for my laptop)picture
so I have only two choices, one is resize the size(450DPI→300DPI),but I don't think the printing precision is lower than it.
or upgrade my laptop(change to 64 bit or buy a new one)
actually I have upgraded it this summer(memory 2G→4G,my laptop is 4 years old,4G is the max memory limits for it) but seems it didn't work.

about 12 years agoHonestly there's no need to keep A4 book size scans any resolution above 300dpi; just a waste of space.
