Hi, I talked to another mod called moonian and he told me to come here. I have a small doubt.
I would like to know why are there so many fate franchise characters with the wrong name, not to mention that most of these characters were posted in the wrong shows, with the exception of the Fate/Apocrypha series who apparently it's OK.
I've just checked the pages of the ''Fate/Extra'' characters in which I'd like to post some images, and to my surprise, the vast majority of them were posted in the wrong shows, for example, https://yande.re/post/show/423395, that's not a Fate/Grand Order character but a Fate/Extra CCC character. I also noted that's missing a tag for the Saber Extra version used in Fate/Grand Order. I think that something needs to be done about this, because this situation tends to get worse with the launch of the anime in the next winter season.

She IS an FGO character - as she appears in FGO, and the artist tagged so on Pixiv.
The fact this character is originated from fate/extra doesn't matter. FGO is a crossover game.

Honestly, this type of childish mentality/behavior is what makes all the other fate fan bases don't like and complain about FGO fans.
Description of naked, at the moment, all but tells you to manually add it in cases of naked_cape.
Why not either set the implication to automatically add naked when naked_cape is used, or alter the naked description so that naked_cape wouldn't be enough to warrant naked (the tags would meet if there are, say, two characters, one wearing a naked_cape and other being just naked)?

naked_cape shouldn't be tagged as naked imo. See the discussion about it when the tag was created - at the time at least, naked_cape and naked were not used together.yrumddldluxduzrf said:

I apologise, for I had lost track of myself when I saw that phrase, she's widely used by FOG fans and it sounds like you were belittling origin series. Because of the double standards used by the users in favor of his favourite show. I've been spending way too long checking the pages of some characters from a X series to serve as a reference for future publications in the Smartphone. So when I got home, I accessed the same pages again to jot down the general tags, I noticed that the majority of them had received the FGO tag, however, those characters who had only the FGO tag didn't receive the X series tag.

Can't we just have a universe tag? Considering they're all somehow related. The origin series should just be put in wiki or something.

Character name in post #409809 has a unicode symbol in it, "sylvia le cruzcrown sortilège sisua", the first "e" in sortilege. That should be done away with, I think.

There are three variants of the same character in this image, but the tag being used for all of them "lancer (fate/extra ccc)" is only correct for one of them. The others technically are a saber and a caster respectively, not lancer, and they originated in FGO. Here's another where the tag really has the wrong class and wrong series, and she isn't in any of the series tagged there (She is only in FGO)

The class + origin series tag was enough to identify a character in the early days of Fate, but now with new content being churned out there's a bunch of characters for every class and some characters such as this one exist as multiple classes and in multiple series. So that tag would have made sense in the past, but imo doesn't work so well now. Creating tags for all the different variants would make quite a mess too though. I see some already exist, but are not being used.
As a possible solution to keep the tags to a minimum, I wonder if for Fate tags it's better to not to have the class and highly specific origin series at all and just use a tag made up of the character name and universe? The tag "elizabeth_bathory_(fate)" for example would describe all three variants of that character in that first image.

Being basically a no talent computer klutz but seeing an issue I believe needs to be addressed I've been trying to get this resolved when, lo and behold, I found this sticky thread. Embarrassing. I definitely wouldn't want to step over any bounds or try to do this myself but I believe that ake or cherrylich or daeho cha (as the artist is known) need to be aliased (if that's the right term) and one name chosen as the artist instead of this artist's pics appearing under two names.
