He should change his name to PantyhoseFan.. :DAurelia said:
Terms seem interchangeable to me, and it's kind of difficult to determine weight/thickness in anime drawings, so I would say to merge them to pantyhose like Danbooru has done. We should as RiderFan probably.
Wing can go to other tags like angles, so it's not probably a good idea to imply it to demon.
I know there's a word just for these kinds of things: super natural beings, i.e angels, demons and alike, just as there's one for humans with animal traits (skin, ears, tail... well you name it)
What I meant was this but the opposite for humans I think?

Super natural beings is a description that covers a lot wider range than angels and demons alone. You could argue to put most everything into a category such as that.
All I'm saying is that it's pretty worthless to have x tags which (mostly) only covers the one said which I can't seem to figure out atm.
mecha_musume and anthropomorphization don't appear to be maintained any longer. Is it time to get rid of them?
i see
You used anthropomorphization just two weeks ago. And if I really felt like it I could dig out some os-tan.
Technically all the vocaloid are anthropomorphization, they just don't get considered to be it because the company made them.

I did? Not me you'll find.SciFi said:

Someone has to maintain these types of tags, and anthropomorphization hasn't been. A tag of this type which has been used 10 times is not worth keeping IMO.
I'd say go ahead and remove it. Old tags will simply not be used any more.
I'm maintaining mecha_musume.
Autographed?
alias to signed I say. The terms are used interchangeably afterall.
I'd leave them separate. The autographed images look like the original artist physically wrote his/her name with a Sharpie on one of their printed works. That's not a fault. signed is usually by some third party.
I don't quite get the purpose of autographed... The tag that is.
pubic_hair and sheets I see no meaning to keep these. If there's pubic hair the man or woman is obviously half/naked and therefor penis or pussy comes up, not to mention any other unnecessary tags which I haven't found "yet".
edit: Oh and breast_hold what does this mean? Like if I'm trying to cover my breasts, or like if I say cross my arms and make that "hmm" kind of look?

Some people are disgusted by pubic_hair and I guess use it as a blacklist tag.
Why the hell would anyone need to tag sheets?

@Feito
They could be naked and not have pubic hair.(Which equals win for some) While others use it as a blacklist... so it has a point to a certain degree. Though sheets...pretty useless...

lol that's sick.... They're not that heavy believe me. I can understand the the part of the covering the nipples but everything else seems kinda out of place.
Oh well, guess I'll never understand what you guys think or believe.

... Um yeah Feito.. I dunno how your part of the world views that so I can't really comment on that. So I'll Just say Maybe yu might not understand right now but maybe you will later! XD
I don't get your need to delete useful tags Feito...
sheets is used when the sheets cover the naked body, in a similar way as naked_apron does, not very common though.
pubic_hair for the reasons Radioactive gave.
breast_hold
Those tags are being maintained, and probably, many people like them. I don't see the problem.

Exactly, it describes well an unnatural situation, along with breast_grab.Feito said:

not the problem..
just the bias of the excess of situations/bodyparts tags putting aside the lack of fashion tags (especially hair styles) looks gross.. (x_x;)

I just think we need to revamp the tagging guidelines, not just the basis of tag what you see.
This may not be the right topic for this, but I'll ask anyway :)
I was tagging some images with a tag I created pantaloons - there are quite a few images that feature them, and I wanted to be able to tag them together - but it looks like someone came up behind me and removed them from a lot of the images.
I was also changing some images that were marked as "safe" but really shouldn't have been based on my understanding of that term to "questionable" and it seems some of them were reverted too.
Do I need to get the "blessing" of someone before I'm allowed to do things like that?

No, but you should check, the history on tag and rating to see who had done it. Sometimes it's done by evil trolls. And other times by mods. In the latter it should be commented just to srr what it should be. If you could, could you link me some of the "safe" ---> "questionable" images?
Edit: I believe it may be appropiate to add the pantaloons tag as it seems It has a more extended imagebase then tags like overalls Im sure bakaneko would be glad to maintain the tag. And I would help bakaneko maintain it as well.

Here's my theory of tag creation. Which I have stated once before but since I cannot find where I last posted it i'll revise it once again.
1) Is it necessary? (of course this is subjective , but please expand)
2) Will someone other than you will use it/search for it?
3) Can it be maintained?
4) It wasn't just a tag you whimsically created, correct?
Not all tags are necessary, and the tag you are proposing to create and have already tagged a good 50 amounts + of them are on my list of unnecessary tags as it belongs in the category of "fetish" along with personal attire.
