I feel inclined to point out the danbooru tag lingerie has gone almost unnoticed and not applied fully on imouto.
Even danbooru seem to have trouble getting the definition correct despite having a wiki for it.
If kept, over 7500 posts would need checked to a better set standard.
Not all of its 558 posts make it into the underwear alias. (at least some should, but were not tagged pantsu, etc.)

I'm fine with lingerie. It's just something I recently realized that we had from a while ago, so I started using it. No big deal, really. Just tag new incoming posts with it when you see it, and I'm using it on my travels through the wilderness of the old posts.

xmas, halloween etc are we keeping these? Actually these are only the kinds of tags I find interesting, although most or some don't celebrate these occasions, hell even here in sweden halloween is closely tied to the US one but still differs a lot.

Go ahead, Feito. Yes, the holiday tags are staying. Usually we copy the wiki entries from Danbooru and edit slightly to fit the site. There are a couple tags here and there that I'm reviewing, but generally, if a tag is already here, you can write something about it.
About animal_ears, if people absolutely want to keep nekomimi, inumimi, etc. I guess we should leave them, at that I think if one search for animal_ears nekomimi etc. should be shown too.
animal_ears should be an alias for all "animal ears" (neko, kitsune, inu, usa, etc).
animal_ears is a great tag. For an example, you want fox or tiger or panda ears or whatever, just search for animal_ears -nekomimi
And that is useful, in my opinion, it would be a shame to lose either tags.

I vote to keep summer_dress as it's a fairly distinct type of clothing.

My personal opinion,
1) Mangas, Illustrations always come with artist names and/or circle names.
2) Anime pics are more like line products not personal arts. copyrights is usually enough. artist/studio names are secondary.
3) Game pics are differ from studios. mostly, they are credited by the main line drawer. sometimes studio hidden their name. in the latter case, I'd suggest to add studio names instead of artist names.
4) In any case, character names are subtle.

I don't think we have any other musical instrument tags than guitar, at least these 2 only have that post #88979 post #88839
Humm.. if we have simply 1-2 tags of musical instruments, no need to add it then. We'll see what else pops up.
