Really can't answer your question that well AZD, like others might say Beer, Wine, other alcohol etc. are all acquired tastes. Some meals just have a richer flavor with wine, well other just feel more relaxing with a beer, and as for hard stuff.... as well can be quite relaxing. Some get addicted others don't. I actually haven't drunk in a while, but when ever I go out to eat with friends, the food determines my drink of choice, you can see it as the adult version of getting a soda with your dinner. Again its all an acquired taste. Some hard alcohol I really enjoy drinking, they just taste great going down and I feel good and relaxed, though too much and one can get 'too' relaxed XD
I personally tend to drink with ppl around, there were a few times I drank alone, but it just didn't taste the same.

Drink??? Hum... mostly budwiser and Corona. Only drink on occasions though even though I barely drink.
So i have this Cousin of mine who always come on big occasions and bring tons of beer and crap. I usually like to stay away from this guy, otherwise i'll be down 7-9 cans/bottles by the end of the second hour.

actually on family occasions I don't drink as much, mostly Corona and margaritas etc, though when me and my friends hang out we drink! usually at least a dozen beers each of us, and then some hard stuff later, been a long time since we've done that thought...

I remember one time at a relatives party, my mother wanted to know how beer taste. She said it was good and drank more. During the night, Step father and I had to find her. She left out the building saying that she needed to go to the Hospital because something is wrong with her. We had to get her back in bed. She scared me that day...looking at us angrily and such. No more beer for her at all.
She may be a Sickle-cell trait carrier, but she still can have problems...not as much as what I have though.
Yeah...it's definitely a type of merry fun I have no choice but to skip out on in life...if I want to live longer.
