Actually, thats Lucy and her celestial Key Virgo from the anime Fairy Tail and neither of them are traps
Sorry, jus started watchign fairy tail, an amazing anime, and spotted this so had to point it out x.x

SO are they cosplaying as characters from Maria Holic then? I don't get it.

The Pixiv link doesn't have any Fairy Tail tags on it. They don't look similar at all to me; I'd just assume Piyuna has not seen Maria Holic and since he/she just watched Fairy Tail, is looking for images of it and is mistaken.

Actually, they are Maria and Matsurika from this anime, Maria Holic. ·___·
