Once, just once, I would like to see one of these anime adaptations stay faithful to the original character designs. Akira and Sora's breasts are literally triple their original size here. Am I the only person who thinks huge breasts on small petite female characters just looks unnatural?

You're not, I find the huge breasts annoying. They're totally unrealistic for one thing, and it really detracts from the character. (Why bother drawing the rest of them when they have breasts the size of beach balls? Just go whole-hog and draw breasts on a stick figure and get it over with.)

Then again, I prefer lolis so... (●´ω｀●)

I could point you to the unrealistic huge anime eyes (which are practically almost quarter of their faces) as well .. but oh well >.>

True, but it works differently because we're hard-wired to respond to larger eyes as cute/charming/etc. Notice how babies of almost all animals have eyes much larger proportionate to their heads than adults do? And most people tend to respond to them as "awwwww, how cute!! （*´ー`) フッ" So we're much more inclined to accept large eyes as OK.

Not that that's guaranteed however, part of the reason anime characters still look charming with huge eyes is because they don't try for realism. If you've ever seen a picture of a real person modified with Photoshop to have eyes the same size as an anime character, well... it's the whole uncanny valley phenomenon then, we immediately know it's NOT normal and find it creepy instead of cute.

Breast-wise however, anime tends to go to extremes, either the girls have breasts much larger than 99% of all girls the same age world-wide would, or they're a perpetual loli of sorts (think Konata from Lucky Star) and look like an elementary school girl even while in high school. It's fairly rare to see girls with normal size breasts.

I also get annoyed that schoolgirl's uniform skirts tend to never be realistic in length either. As strange as it may sound, that's one of the things I liked best about the first two Nanoha series. The school uniforms had realistic length skirts!! Yay! (ﾉ*´∀｀)ﾉ

I am now disappoint. Was looking forward to it a bit since the game is pretty nice, but now that i noticed that they "improved" Sora's breasts i'm kinda pissed （￣へ￣）

Well, magazine art tends to be... inflated... a few sizes compared to the actual anime. It could still turn out OK. Maybe. Hopefully.

Akira's not that "big" in the show either from what I saw in eps 5 and 6 though. Kazuha's supposed to be bigger and she is, but it's not overdone either (see ep 4).
