I was flipping through some of my Megami Deluxes from 10 years ago and it's sad how much worse things are now. They used to at least pay attention to proportion and perspective most of the time.

At some point the actual in show animation became better than the magazine illustrations. Remember when people use to buy those magazines to get higher quality artwork for the show they were watching?
