Did the artist uploaded this previously and deleted afterwards or was this user-created? The source link points to a smaller image and post #331799 imply that the original uploader created this.

It was uploaded by a mod so it's highly unlikely to be user-created. Pixiv 'premium' users can replace their uploads, so it's possible the artist changed it.

Their new upload is too small for this site anyway.

That's a possibility though since the original artist isn't premium user he/she would have to delete the image and re-upload it with any revision. I still have this weird feeling that this was made by someone other than the artist.

Nah I just re-upload it from post #331799 because that one is uncompressed. I did have same concern as Mr GT, but was too lazy to compare it with the original to see if it is modified by (original) uploader.

I just investigated this image. The lines look natural (a.k.a not upscaled).

The additional background (compared to the one on pixiv) looks natural too.. but it's blurry anyway so a flawless photoshop is possible and therefore kinda hard to judge

So my guess is the artist released a high resolution one (at least for the foreground character part) somewhere else. Not sure about the background though.
