General: tagme (Version 1)
This is a detailed explanation of the use and rationale of the tag <b>tagme</b>. For a broad overview of tagging, see tagging guidelines.
This tag indicates that there is insufficient tagging to discover who drew a picture.
This is the most important information for tags to provide: to give credit to the artist, and so when people find an artist they like, they can find out who he is. (Discovering an artist you like and being able to find more of his works can be more valuable than the image itself!)
If a circle is tagged, tagme is generally not needed. Additionally, official works which have a copyright tag don't need tagme. (Artist and circle tags are still encouraged for official works.)
Tagme is not necessary for missing character or copyright tags.
