I was trying to upload from pixiv and got this error.
It didn't happen when I had it copy the image from Danbooru though.

are you using the url field on upload or danboorup?

edit: tracked down the error..hopefully fixed
seems our site is now totally incompatible with danbooruUP.
I guess the problem is about https -- danbooruUp cannot set the create.xml with https:
http://i.minus.com/ibeKM4IQXyDqP2.png
I input https://yande.re/post/created.xml, it will become http one.

Then when I upload with this, error will occur..
Since the site is now taking advantage of a free SSL cert, have you considered testing out the SPDY protocol? nginx appears to be planning a release with SPDY support sometime around May 2012. It'd be interesting to play around with now that both Chrome and Firefox 11 (network.http.spdy.enabled = true) are able to use SPDY.

considering it once nginx supports it and cloudflare supports it
During the past half-hour I've gotten a few 503 temporarily unavailable errors when loading pages. Reloading usually seems to work, but this is the first time I've ever seen that error here.

Did the connection limits unintentionally get reduced when when you eliminated the ayase sub-domain, or is something else going on?

Update: It does appears something was changed and only a single connection is allowed now? For years I had been using a maximum of 3 download connections + browsing (to stay under the previous limit) and it always worked fine.

Update2: Or not? The server actually seems to be randomly picking the number of connections to allow? At the moment the server is usually limiting me to only a single connection, but every once in awhile I can get 2 or 3 work. That combined with browsing pages producing 503, makes me think that maybe this wasn't an intentional change and the server is just overloaded/malfunctioning?

Update3: I was almost thinking this was a CloudFlare issue (which I'm now connecting through as of today), but after connecting to the site directly again, I'm still showing the same behavior with a firm 1 connection limit and occasional 503 errors when browsing. The 2 or 3 connections occasionally working I mentioned in Update 2 must be a side-effect of CloudFlare rarely having something cached. Whatever the case, these new connection limits seem overly restrictive
I turned off rate limiting until I figure out how to get the ips translated properly

For the partial scans which Share has been uploading recently, there seems to be a bug which is causing the child posts to be missing when clicking on the child post links.

the child posts are marked as do not show in index as well as still held so it wont show up until held is removed
Ah so that's what was going on. Is it ok if I go through and unhold the 19 pages worth of partials which now have their parent on the index? It gets confusing with the parent on on the index, but the childs still held. I assume keeping them hidden-only should be enough now.

I have to admit that is one amazing dakimakura scanning effort by Share. Even if I unhold those 19 pages, there are still 36 more pages left which she has yet to get around to yet. That's a lot of scans.
I was too lazy to find & unhold the childs posts one by one because Share didn't put parent ones and child ones together. (She always upload parent ones firstly)

Now I unhold all the shown:only holds:only partial_scan posts, problem should be solved.

BTW, all Share's dakimakura posts is from Share, which are scanned by bluenote.
I hate April Fools day... at least I hope that's why admin2 half-broke the site by forcing the post browser on everything.

Why oh why does Japan have to be GMT +9, while out here it starts almost an entire day early because of GMT -7. April Fools day has quickly become March Fools day as more and more websites have international audiences. <_<

One of the better ones out of Google.

http://www.accel-world.net/ has a similar joke going today.
Heh. I got tricked here.
After this message, I better...just stay off the internet, Xbox Live, and such.
The storm has arrived.
My back hurts.
the post browser is really a big "surprise" T T
The post browser is annoying, even for an April Fool's joke. :<

That said, it's not even April yet...
Is there a way to switch back to old browsing?

New layout... sorry guys, but I hate it :<

I strongly dislike the new post browser.
I could get used to the new post browsing. It's generally faster than the old post browsing but a complete list of hotkeys would be helpful (not to say that I wasn't surprised or hope there's a way to use the old way).
-So far I've discovered
'`', '1', '2', '3' -> vote hot keys,
'e' -> edit tags (use escape key to cancel)
'a', 's', page up, page down -> load previous or next image
F4 -> load next image
'f' -> find/search, moves focus to the search bar under the images (use escape key to cancel)
'v', F7 -> loads full size image with a zoom feature
left/right arrows scroll thumbnails
spacebar -> enter/exit full screen mode
-number pad w/ Num Lock ON
'5' -> edit tags (use escape key to cancel)
'1' -> load previous image
'6' -> find/search, moves focus to the search bar under the images (use escape key to cancel)
-number pad w/ Num Lock OFF
'3' -> load next image
'4', '6' -> scroll thumbnails
-Mouse
double click upper image -> full screen mode
drag and scroll the thumbnails using the small area underneath
mouse scroll wheel up/down to scroll through thumbnails
mouse scroll wheel up/down in full screen mode to load next or previous image
I hope you guys will change this back to the previous browsing system after the april fool day

dont do it, i love this, actually more easy to use
i like the browsing thing on the bottom, but i hate it how i can't access or tell what page i;'m on. also, after scrolling through the whole thing, it reverts back to the first image. hopefully this is just an april fool's joke.
So I heard that due to positive feedback over IRC and e-mail, the new design is staying as final, though I'm not really fond of the new design myself.

PS: Seems like there will be an option to return to the old interface, but since that breaks cache in the server, it can not be activated in all accounts, so it will be only possible for donators.

So if I start now to donate to this site, can I return to the old interface?

Yes, since the chances are that people will donate a small amount and stop donating completely, a monthly average limit will be established.

Anyway wait for official details.

Actually I did donate to this site for 9 months straight last year, until admin2 have cancel the donation. Otherwise I will keep donating.
