I really don't like the designs.

After all these years the franchise is finally coming back to the original series plotline. I hope this ends up being decent.

the only thing that bug me is hayate change her hairpin, from yellow to orange.

Nanoha's symmetric hair abomination is much worse imo, but yeah that's a definite downgrade compared to the golden cross..

Despite the fact that the whole Nanoha franchise is made of original anime series and movies (the only exception is Nanoha Vivid, first released as a manga, before it was adapted into an anime whose the next season is soon to be aired), this artwork is for the third movie project: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha THE MOVIE 3rd: Reflection. A sort of adaptation of the PSP games, have I read. One thing is sure: it will occur between A’s and StrikerS, and some PSP charactersthe Florians sisters may be in the cast.

If the original series’ timeline is respected, if Hayate has already given birth to Reinforce Zwei, it will occur not sooner than two years after the “anime last bossBook of Darkness/movie last bossNachtWal Incident”, at least.

PS: I don’t have mentioned the Nanoha INNOCENT spin-off mangas, because they have not been adapted into animes (yet?).

I think they mentione it's going to take 6 months or so later than A's, not two years.

Possible: I don’t remember well all the news about the story, to avoid too much spoilers… But, in this case, spoilerhow can Hayate use Schwertkreuz already? Perhaps she can use it anyway, without Rein’s help (we know that she helps Hayate’s spells to be more accurate)? Or spoilerwill they break the canonical timeline and make Reinforce Zwei to be born at this time? I would be a bit disappointed if it had to be the case.

Me and friends have hoped that too at first, but it was already a part of the StrikerS’ story, spoileras one of the numerous events that occurred during the “JS incident”. And if spoilerthe Florians sisters’ seiyū were announced last November, I don’t think Reflection will go back to an event related to StrikerS…
