Why the artistic draws nipples darker and darker in recent years？
In the past pictures it was pink and red！

Because most nipples AREN'T pink and red? most of the time the girls I've been with had nipples that were more pinkish brown than pinkish red..

my girlfriend says they're supposed to darken so that when they have babies, the baby can see the nipple more easily when they're too young to open their eyes a lot.

I dunno. I know that some girls can actually feel self conscious about that because they look at their own breasts and wonder if there's something wrong with them because the nipple colour isn't right, or the size or shape isn't round and bouncy cause breasts have different shapes IRL... some of them are flatter or sag differently etc.. all breasts are good... we should allow fantasy girls to have dark nipples too. It shows they're old enough for baby making and that's what half of weebs wanna do wit h their waifus anyway

There's also the "intended audience" of the publisher. If they are Japanese, then they don't care much about what anyone outside of Japan thinks. For example pink nipples on a dark skin character are off to me, but they won't change anything if it's a work of fiction and I can't imagine any self-conscious girl is going to use fictional anatomy as a some kind of standard.

Hate to contradict you, but quite a few girls actually have problems with the "physical standards" That fictional characters and porn stars put on them.. guys always want to look at shit like porn stars there's nipple bleaching kits and butthole bleaching kits and stuff... it can make girls feel really self conscious if they have darker nipples or not some flawless pink/whatever skin tone. Intended audience only goes so far. I hate to seem like that guy but porn can give people some really unrealistic expectations as to how sex goes, or how a girl's body looks. Also by your own definition.. intended audience and making the nipple darker in porn could easily be seen as "Girls aren't flawless pink if they're able to produce kids" etc.
