Probably just the same girl (from different angles of view) drawn within the same frame.

I thought that at first too but the tail's positioning is wrong and there's no sign of pillow near the other one... it looks almost like there's two of one girl or twins of some sort

The two drawings don't need to be depicting the same time's positioning - it could be first lying (the right one) and then getting up when the dog girl comes back from outside (the left one).
